Kind Hearts & Coronets (Razorsharp)

It's fair to say that appearances from flicks that were made, shall we say, 'way back when' will be few & far between on this blog. This is mainly due to my opinion that the majority of movies from that era have now, unfortunately, passed their 'sell by date' and contain concepts, dialogue, visuals & censorship that have little or no relevance in the here & now. However, every rule has it's exceptions and this flick unquestionably represents one of them.

Although it does still tick a number of the boxes listed above, there's something particularly unique & rather special about the dialogue and this movie's deliciously dark storyline remains completely relevant in this day & age (although it should be pointed out that a particular nursery rhyme quoted towards the end of this flick does still demonstrate how times have changed since this was made).

Overall this black comedic drama represents a real cinematic treat and is pretty much a 'must see' movie in my opinion.

Razorback Rating = Unmissable

The why...

This blog represents an ongoing list of flicks watched by my good self. Every movie viewed will be awarded one of seven ratings ('Unmissable', 'Superb', 'Very Decent', 'Decent', 'Decent Enough', 'Watchable' & finally 'Worthless') and any flick that falls under one of the first three ratings categories will also be awarded 'Razorsharp' status (which means it's pretty much a 'must see' movie in my not so humble opinion).
