I'd attempted to see this movie on a couple of occasions previously but never made it any further than about half way through it's running time as I'd always end up being interrupted and then never felt any real motivation to return to it at a later date.
However on this particular occasion, I was determined to stay on board for the entire duration and I'm reasonably glad that I did as it made a refreshing change to see Nicholas Cage produce a relatively subdued performance (by his standards at least) as an individual that's only really achieved success on a monetary level.
Although this flick falls short, by quite some distance, of being one of the better comedic dramas that I've seen in recent years, it certainly isn't one of the worst either so is still worth catching as long as you're in a pretty undemanding mood.
Razorback Rating = Decent Enough
