Nine

You know, since starting this blog I've had a pretty decent run in terms of the movies I've watched but all good things, eventually, come to an end. 

If I was going to sum up this movie in one word I think that word would be...mundane. I will acknowledge that musicals aren't really my thing but I can certainly tell the difference between a good one & a bad one and this flick unquestionably falls into the latter category. 

The songs are weak, the storyline is boring, the main character is unbelievably pretentious and for good measure the movie even manages to feel quite misogynistic. A shockingly bad movie, especially as it has the same director as 'Chicago', and very much one to avoid IMO.
