Considering just how much I enjoyed the first flick, I wasn't really expecting this to live up to the standards previously set but I have to say that not only did it match them, it actually managed to surpass them as well.
All of the key elements from the previous movie (frantic car chases, hand to hand combat using everyday household items etc) were happily all present & correct but what occurred in the first ten/fifteen minutes of this flick really caught me off guard and consequently turned this movie into one hell of a revenge fuelled thriller.
However, it must be said that despite the numerous fast paced action flavoured thrills that this movie consistently delivered, my absolute favourite scene in this flick was the one in which Jason Bourne decides to deliver an admission of his own guilt to the daughter of his first 'assignment'.
Despite it being a relatively short and quite understated sequence, I couldn't help myself from dwelling on the complex range of emotions that someone in her position would go through following the disclosure of that level of revelatory information.
Razorback Rating = Unmissable
